You get remarkably ahead in life by just consuming better information than your peers. It's so impactful that you might want to spend a few hours every week just searching for better sources.
Why is that so? It is because many problems in your life are common, and others have spend decades trying to solve them. Thus, great resources solve important, unchanging problems, like: What job to do? How to stay healthy? How to make good decisions? and so on.
The best part is that with internet you have more accessible information than ever. The problem is that the search for gems can take years.
Here are some of the best websites I've found that unlocked new worlds and changed who I am:
Stellar
80,000 Hours Career Guide — The best guide I found on solving one of the most important problems in your life.
How to Do Great Work — This is Paul Graham's best essay and he is the best writer I read (judging on clarity and impactfulness). However, most people would benefit more by reading "How to do what you love" essay.
Competition is for Losers with Peter Thiel — I recommend every YC lecture, but this is the best one.
Founders — Every episode is remarkable, no favorites.
Fallible Ideas — I recommend every article.
Remarkable
Huberman Lab — Huberman is the best starting point for improving your health. This 90 minute episode briefly covers the most impactful changes you can do.
